自分ならできると思えること
最近はメンタルの調子が比較的良い。色々理由を考えているが、一つは仕事の成果を客観的に見ることができているからなのかと思っている。同じ部署にいても仕事の種類は人それぞれ難易度やその人の能力が違うせいで、ネガティブな人は自分は全然仕事ができないと思いがちである。しかし、最近は良いか悪いかはわからないが、最大公約数的な仕事をいくつかやるようになった。そこで気づいたのは自分の仕事ぶりはそこまで悪くないということである。大体の人ができることは私にもできるし、逆に言えば私にできないことは大体の人はできない。これからはさらにその大体の人の比率を下げたり、上げたりするだけなんだろうなと気づいた。例えば今の部門の60%ができることは自分にできると思えるか、自分にできないことは60%の人ができることは自分にもできると思えるか。
相対的な世界に生きていると実感する。他人と比較することで不幸になるということもあるかもしれないが、逆に他人と比較することによって自分の価値を再確認するということもあっていいはずだ。結局成果なんて他人との比較でどうかという話だと思う。そう考えると結局自分が幸せになれるためにどのような考え方をインストールするか。これに尽きるように思う。他人がどう思おうが、自分がどのような対応をされようが、自分の心や考え方を他人が変えることはできない。もし他人の考えや行動が自分の心や考え方を変えたように思うのならそれは自分自身がそう変えることを許したということに他ならない。焦らずに自分を大切に生きていこう。
