だいぶ前に20代のうちに勉強しておきたいこととして仕事の専門知識と英語とプログラミングを挙げた。一つ目の仕事の専門知識はある意味嫌でもやっていかないと生きていけないので、仕事の時間も含めて取り組んでいる部分ではある。英語は歩みは遅いけれども、参考書を読み、英語のYoutubeチャンネルを見て勉強している。 多少は読んだりするのはできるが、書いたり話したりするのは全くと言っていいほどダメな状況だ。 英語の勉強はまだまだ時間がかかりそうだ。
さて、本題のプログラミングであるが、どのプログラミング言語に取り組むかについて。正直何をしたいのかという部分がないので、難しい。簡単に仕事の効率化をするならば、VBAもいいのかと思ったけれど、今流行りのPythonにしようかなと思う。オールマイティでそこまで難易度が高くないらしい。やったことない人種からしたら、すべての言語が難しいように見えるが。早速勉強を進めて、簡単な電卓を作成することはできた。ただ、何かに利用できるものを作るのは非常に難しいなと感じる。あと学んでいて実感するのが、あくまでもプログラミングは手段であって目的ではないということ。要するに外国語と同じでできること自体で大きく評価されない。これらのツールを用いてどのようにアウトプットできるかが重要なんだろう。とはいえまずは習熟度を高めていきたい。
